1 to 2 TAs needed to TA for FRE 474 001 Term 1 – Economics of Global Resource Use and Conservation – 2019/2020.
FRE 474 Course Description:
The economic drivers of environmental degradation, the causal impact of environmental policies on conservation outcomes, application of empirical methods to problems in environmental economics.
Applicants must be UBC graduate students, with the following skills:
Proficiency in R and intermediate level econometrics. Ability to correspond effectively with the instructor and to ask questions when uncertain about marking responsibilities. Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
Section Needing TA(s):FRE 474 – Term 1 – MWF 11-12 (97.0 – TA hours available)
Compensation is GTA 1 = $32.53/hour for Doctoral students; GTA 2 = $31.30/hour for Masters students.
