Common name: Ballhead waterleaf

Family: Boraginaceae (Sub-family: Hydrophyllaceae)

Information: Occurs in montane to subalpine zones in mesic to dry forested sites and openings (Pojar and MacKinnon 2013)

Interesting information: Indigenous peoples are known to have harvested the shoots and leaves, which would be boiled and consumed as a vegetable (Pojar and MacKinnon 2013)
