UBC Student Services resources and tools

Standard

UBC’s Student Communications Services has updated their online resources to help students who may be travelling to Canada during COVID, and who want to find information more easily.

Students.ubc.ca updates

Travelling to Canada Guide: https://students.ubc.ca/new-to-ubc/travelling-to-canada
We created this step-by-step guide in coordination with International Student Advising for international students who want to travel to Canada during COVID-19.

International Student Guide: students.ubc.ca/international
We updated the International Student Guide to make it easier for students to find critical and timely support, immigration information, resources, and steps they need to take before they start their studies.

UBC Student Services: students.ubc.ca/about
This refreshed page provides students a scannable list, with brief descriptions, of student services units on the Vancouver campus, categorized to match student mental models. This is linked from “Contact Us” in the footer on all students.ubc.capages.

Student support and resources: students.ubc.ca/support
We expanded and updated this page, which introduces students to supports, tips, and resources based on general topics (ie: Money, Health, Career, etc.) rather than organizational structure. This linked from the yellow “Support” button on the top navigation menu on all students.ubc.ca pages.
