WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28 | 9 AM – 1 PM AGORA CAFÉ

The LFS TA Training Program invites all new and returning LFS TAs to attend Orientation. With speakers from the Learning Centre, your local union, and CTLT, you will learn more about:

  • TA Program Overview – Resources and Responsibilities
  • Confidentiality for TAs and The Learning Centre
  • Instructor Expectations
  • CUPE 2278 Collective Agreement
  • Canvas Essentials (Lunch n’ Learn)

Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW)

Want to attend CTLT’s highly sought-after ISW and not get waitlisted? We have seats reserved just for LFS TAs! Successful completion of the ISW will be noted in your transcript and is recognized by various institutions. E-mail Lennie (Lennie.Cheung@ubc.ca) if you are interested in attending an ISW this year.
