Midterm Exam details

Exam structure:

  • All assigned pages from the following textbook chapters will be covered in the exam: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9 (i.e. up to and including Marketing Research). You are also responsible for all other assigned readings, so make sure you double-check all of the class prep instructions. You are also responsible for all content covered in classes.
  • The midterm exam will be worth a total of 65 marks: 30 marks across 11 short-answer questions; and 35 marks across 35 multiple choice questions.
  • You will have 90 minutes to write the exam, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Remember to save your answer to each question as you go along. The exam will shut down after 90 minutes, and any unsaved answers will be lost.
  • Point-form answers will be acceptable, as long as your meaning is clear.

Rules:

  • You will be given an exam form to sign before the exam begins. You may use the back side of this form to write notes as you work through the exam. You must hand in this piece of paper at the end of the exam.
  • Your laptop is the only electronic device that will be allowed in the exam. No cell phones, PDAs, electronic dictionaries, or other such devices will be permitted.
  • You may bring in a paper dictionary. We will check it for notes. No other reference materials will be permitted.
