Improving University Teaching Conference 2025

I’m delighted to be presenting a talk at the Improving University Teaching Conference in London UK. My talk title is Cultivating Researcher Identity and Importance of Positionality among Students in Quantitative Psychology Research Methods. Here are my slides, final edition (updated from the earlier version here): IUT Talk 2025 Cultivating Researcher Identity Rawn.TOPOST.FINAL

This talk is inspired by the conference subtheme Transformative Learning, and showcases my approach to teaching Research Methods, which I renewed in 2023. Specifically, the talk focuses on one assignment, Researcher Identity Integration Paper Instructions 2024 with Researcher Notes, from within this course Rawn Research Methods Syllabus 2024.

Looking forward to presenting, discussing, and writing more about this assignment and my students’ great work!

If you like this conference, come to Canada in June for the Society of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE)
