Favourite Judicial Decision:
Eldridge v British Columbia (A.G.) – the Supreme Court of Canada held that the Canadian Charter applies to health care and that governments’ have a positive obligation to ensure equal benefit of Charter rights (plus it was my first appearance before the SCC, on behalf of the Charter Committee on Poverty Issues in its intervention in the case, and one of the few cases in which I’ve been on the winning side.)
