NING help with RSS feeds

Hello Module 4 and Module 5 presenters.  If one of you read this in the immediate future, can you please give me instructions on how to provide the RSS feed from our NING site to this blog page?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Erica,

Len Pelletier from our M5 group wrote this in our conclusion report;

RSS Feed Aggregators

For students who did not know how to use an RSS Feed, a page was created to aggregate the feeds in a nice readable format. Students did not need to use the feed, but could just visit the page to get updates. This page was created using the free service RapidFeeds. The service was exceptionally easy to use, and exported to a number of formats so that you could embed a feed into almost any website or blog. Unfortunately RapidFeeds did not archive past posts, so Ning’s 20-post limit carried over to the RapidFeed page.

In order to get around the Ning RSS limit, we also tried to patch our RSS feed into a twitter account, so that each post would be tweeted. Unlike RapidFeeds, Twitter would archive the posts, but there were no free tools to patch Feeds and Twitter together. The best that we could do was to use an evaluation of TwitterFeed, but it only added a post ever 3 hours, and that wasn’t enough to keep up with our posts. In the end, we abandoned TwitterFeed.
