Hi Drew,
I found your perspective very refreshing. I remember discussing this angle on the codex with you in a forum, but your research shed light on the finer details. I was also thinking that the codex’s advantage over television was portability when one considers physicality over information flow. However, digital text is much more “transportable” than a codex. Did portability skip a generation? Thanks for a the interesting research and extension of ideas related to information flow! Erin
