Philip,
Very interesting wiki about yellow journalism. I have to admit that this is the first time I have heard of the topic. I would think that with the rise of the penny press and yellow journalism, the desire for greater information was increased in the common public. You make some comments at the beginning of your wiki such as “inferior, careless or intentionally misleading reporting”. I sometimes feel like the press today is behaving such a manner. I guess “Sensational writing” sells.
