by Ed Stuerle
Kurzweil 3000 is an adaptive technology that provides support for students who have reading and writing difficulties. In order to better present this technology’s affordances please view this video that I have created.

Hi Ed,
I’d like to view your video but it’s listed as private. Is there another link you can post?

Hi Ed,
Thanks for this presentation – I had heard of Kurweil 3000 but didn’t really know how it worked. I am curious if the program ever has difficulty with words it comes across. I just used OCR on a document and there were plenty of spelling of errors in the final product. Still a neat and useful technology – particularly in the context you illustrated.
Cheers,
Natalie
