Google Wave

Got my invite from Google this morning to try Wave.

I shall report next week on how it’s going.  Working with three colleagues in the US on a project to catalog innovative practices of higher education e-learning consortia.

We’re all envious! Let us know what it is like. They have certainly managed to create a lot of hype around it (good marketing)

Very nice! Please share with us what it’s like and if it’s as good as it is touted to be.

I just recently got an invite, too! If you need someone to wave at, look me up at seanmcminn -AT- googlewave.com.

Beloew are some interesting sites on the subject, plus a video showing how Google Wave can be used:

Sean, I looked at the links and thanks, the first one talked about the use as a sort of virtual town square, and how it is more immediate than twitting..best, k

I seethe with jealousy…….I can’t get an invite to save my life.

Let us know how it goes. It seems like it would be a very powerful tool.

Hello Sean and Course Mates:

Wow! unlike Google Docs, Google Wave is a much more powerful collaborative and communication tool.

As well, Google Wave appears to be user-friendly and robust with a lot of cool collaborative tools.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Barrie
