Campaign Workers

As in previous elections, political parties once again seem to be hiring large numbers of students to work as campaign workers. Typically, these campaign workers travel in groups close to a campaign event, dressed in some kind of slogan-bedecked shirt to hand out campaign literature. While the going rate in 2008 was ₮5,000, the current rate appears to be ₮10,000 per day (approx. C$8). In the above picture, students seemed to be coming from/going to an MPP event focused on youth.
